The Amazing race, sorda :)
So Brad created a full day of birthday celebrations for me!!!! I knew he had a day planned with special events through out the day, however I didn't know what the day would entail, nor was I suppose to know. It all began with a birthday card on my actually birthday which was Thursday. The card said I would have a whole day of fun and to not worry about anything b/c it was all taken care of. My first clue was to be ready by 7 am on Sat and to stretch first. I quickly figured out I would be going for run. My father in law picked me up Sat morning and we went for a run at Mt. Trashmore. After our run he handed me another card that read "I loved the old donut chef". Yes, I knew I was about to eat :). Adrin dropped me off at the Kempsville grill where I got to eat breakfast with my dad. After we were done with breakfast, my dad dropped me off at my house and handed me another card, it read be ready by 9:30 am and shave your legs, hahahaha. I went home showered and my best pal Kathy picked me up and we went and had an hour massage, so wonderful. Kathy then dropped me off and handed me another card that said to be ready by 12:30 pm. I went showered AGAIN and Alicia, my sister in-law, came by the house to get me. We went to Changes day spa for fabulous pedicures. After they were done with our toes, she handed me another card, with a clue that said "a few doors down a friend is waiting to have lunch with you". It was my long time pal, Carrie. She was in town from FL and I had no clue. she was even here. It was so wonderful to catch up with her!!!! After lunch she handed me my last card.....it read make your way to the mall you have some shopping to do. Carrie dropped me off and there was my wonderful husband waiting for me. I was so excited to tell him how wonderful my day had been. We did a little bit of "window" shopping and then went and saw the movie Four Christmases...it was soooo funny!!! After the movie we met up with my in-laws, Alicia and Kylee for a yummy steak dinner....a perfect ending to a perfect day. Brad did a great job planning this day for me and everything worked out so perfectly. Each person that participated in this day made me feel so loved and special, I thank all of them. Brad is a great husband and I couldn't be more thankful for him!!!! Love you babe!!!!
