No longer our schedules!!!!!

So over the weekend I cooked 22 meals and froze them. This has been so great thus far and has made getting dinner on the table super easy. Brad and I decided to organize our pantry before the big cooking day. While we did this Kylee sat contently in her bouncy seat. After a few mins of being there she had quite the wet burp. I decided just to take off her onesie. She then decided a few mins later to have a massive POOP!!! It was so explosive that we ended up having to bathe her. Brad and I found these events so humerous as we are quickly learning it is NOT about our schedules but rather Kylee determines the happenings of our life now. This has taken some getting used to, but we have greatly enjoyed this journey into parenthood. The pictures on this post capture the events of that night.

whohoooo! i'm so proud of you! you'll love cooking this way, i KNOW i could not go back to the old way, for sure! :) hilarious about Kylee, it is true. you start out with a plan but a lot of time, you just have to go with the flow! those explosive poops are something else, aren't they! :) so glad you guys are enjoying your new roles as parents!

And just when you think you have a schedule and you can start planning things, they go and change it! Gotta love it! I can't believe how rolly polly she's getting. She looks bigger than Anna. We get a weight check at the cardiologist on Tues. Don't you go to the Dr. next week to get the okay on everything? Can't wait to see ya'll.

Yeah, Kylee goes to the doctor on Monday to get her shots. YIKES!!! I am already a nervous mess about this. My mom suggested giving her Tylenol before the appt. Anymore suggestion out there from you moms!!!!!

definitely Tylenol BEFORE the shots. your dr. can tell you how much. i felt like that really helps and then stay consistent every four hours with it so she doesn't get too cranky and uncomfortable. she'll probably be VERY sleepy afterwards so she may zonk out for a long time. that will be one of those go with the flow days but she'll work back into a "normal" routine with a day or so. :) it's really hard for mommy to watch the first time but you can do it! be strong! :)

the sooner you get that she rules the house for the next few months and possibly years the easier your life will be! It is so much fun!!!

Wow, I'm impressed - 22 meals! That's ambitious, but very convenient too. Hope you're enjoying your mat leave!
