What a month August has been!!!

We have been so busy this past month I have had no time to blog :). We have enjoy our last weeks of freedom as you can see below!!!






Since turning one, Kylee is now enjoying her "real" milk in her sippy cup. She LOVES it!!!


Though you can't tell really well here, Kylee is taking 4-5 steps at a time. She is still building up her confidence...but, I am sure in the next few weeks or so she will be running all around the house!!!!





We went with Alice to get her ears pierced. She has never had them pierced, so we decided to join in on the fun. This is Alicia and her picking out the studs.

Finally we enjoyed a wonderful vacation with our best buds to Duck, NC. We stayed in a lovely beach house. The house had a hot tub, pool and was a short walk to the ocean. It was so awesome!!!

We threw a birthday party for all the girls since they were all born within 8 weeks of each other. I thought that Kylee might just enjoy her cake this time.

We had one of our best summers EVER!!! The time to relax and enjoy eachother without a strict schedule has been priceless. I am sad to have to return to work this week and seperate from Brad and Kylee. I was feeling anxious about this the other night and then remember that Kylee has her Nana all to herself now for the next several months and as a mom, I couldn't ask for a better situation. We enjoyed so much spending time with many of ya'll and can't wait again until next summer!!!!

Kylee's birthday party!!

Well my baby is now 1. I can't believe how fast the year has gone. Kylee has added so much joy and happiness to our lives. I think back on how scary it was last year when my water broke unexpectedly. I was a nervous mess. But, now that I look back on how much Kylee has progressed since her birth my heart praises God for how perfect she is. She is right on track for her development and has caught up to the average range on her growing chart. My little "peanut" is growing so fast. We had our families over for a birthday party. Kylee enjoyed sharing this special day with her grandma, my mom, as they have the same birthday!!!!! I LOVE YOU KYLEE!!!!!!

This is her yummy Jamie's cake. Does anyone notice how it matches her dress :)She was not too found of the cake at first. I think she thought she was going to get in trouble. Not the pictures I had envisioned....but, a funny memory now.....

She finally realized it was okay to get into the cake. However, she had to sit on her daddy's lap. Boy was he a mess after she got done with the cake!!!!!

Vacation....Take 2

We recently enjoyed a trip to FL. We stayed in my dad's friend's condo. It was right on the Altantic and was next to an all access beach club. The club had 3 pools and a restaurant. We had a blast and enjoyed spending some time with my family.

We got to meet up with Jen Cruciano and Mrs "C" for lunch....Casey was out of town so Mrs "C" was there helping out with Ezra. I think Ezra is just too cute :)

4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July!!! We enjoyed a lovely cookout at the Miller's house. Then on the 5th of July our court had a party, which actually didn't turn out well because of the rain. That was okay though, we had a blast with our friends from our small group inside the house!!! We did get the chance to make smores even if it was in the rain!!!!
